My Airpods Pro 1 Noise Cancellation & Transparency mode is broken with distortion for the 4th time. I am seriously frustrated and heart broken about this. I get overstimulated very easy so ANC is a god send but I am on my third pair of airpods pro 1 (lightning). It always seems that the left AirPod Pro goes first. Even with those modes disabled I still get distortion if the volume is higher than 60%. WTF am I doing wrong? The only thing I can think of is too loud volume and the fact that I usually default to my left airpod in more than both in when doing phone calls daily. Apple Care is no longer an option. I am on my 3rd pair but I note that when I originally had this issue after 10 months I was given replacements that failed within 30 days or so and Apple replaced them for free since they failed within 90 days. Is this normal? I think I'm gonna try the AirPods Pro 2 but I can't afford them now....I seriously cannot stand this :( My original AirPods are still going strong but the microphones never want to work on phone calls now. Ugh.

I am usually very careful with electronics though I suppose I am running my AirPods Pro every day for hours and hours but still....

Take them back to Apple and ask them to take them back and replace them for a pair of Pro 2s an ask if you can pay the difference. It shouldn’t be much.

If they have replaced three pairs of the original Pros it's time they stepped up and fixed the problem. Be nice and but firm and hopefully they will be nice to you.)

I actually grabbed a pair of Airpods Pro 2 today (my mom got them as a late birthday gift). However, I am going to see about getting them replaced so I can give them to my youngest sister...I don't like electronics going to waste. There is some type of protection plan from Walmart my Aunt got that I just found. I'm very happy with the Airpods Pro 2 but I really hope I don't have this same issue....I can get Apple Care+ on them right? I did not see how to do it in settings like I did with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Totally worth it to get Apple Care IMO....
