In case you were wondering, the Airpods Pro 2 are WAY better than Powerbeats Pro in every way (that matters to me):

1) sound quality - was very surprised at how much better, was expecting only a marginal improvement; and spatial audio is a noticeable bonus improvement
2) comfort, fit
3) UI
4) existence and quality of noise-canceling, with transparency mode being a nice additional feature
5) size

Only complaint is that I'm still trying to figure out how to reliably operate the volume control. The other UI maneuvers are pretty intuitive.

The treble is a little light, so added treble boost in EQ, but this is a personal preference. The Powerbeats Pro had the opposite problem - had to add bass boost, but could have been a problem with fit.

Did not compare with the PowerBeats Pro but I did compare them with the Beats Fit Pro the sound quality difference is pretty obvious. I need always two pairs of earbuds so my plan was to get the AirPods Pro 2 and the Beats Fit Pro but ended returning the Beats Fit Pro and got a second pair of AirPods Pro 2. Paired them with COMPLY Foam tips and can't be happier.

For people that work out, Powerbeats or the Beats Fit are the better options. Wingtips/Ear Hooks are superior and the added bass is better for uptempo music.

Have you tried the AirPods Pro 2 with Comply Foam Tips? If not, then try them and I’m pretty sure you are going to change your mind regarding fit. Like I said, AirPods Pro 2 with Comply tips move nowhere and feel even more secure than Beats Fit Pro.

I ran today with the Airpods Pro 2 and they felt completely secure. But I run very very slowly.

26 miles trail bike today with AirPods Pro 2 and they stayed in the whole ride. Not even pushed them once. I'm using COMPLY Foam tips, though. For those who want some sort of peace of mind, get a silicone strap and call it a day!! I got one and it works pretty well as it does not block the volume control.

I’ve had comply tips before and I was never a fan. Having to squeeze them and hold them in place until they expanded and due to this they go bad over time and getting dried ear wax dried of them is harder than it should be.

Glad you think they are more secure but Beats Fit Pro literally have a wingtip to hold them in place vs nothing on the APP. I would argue if you got comply tips for the Beats they would be even better for you as well.

Enrico, I'm sorry if you've done this previously, but could you please post a link to the Comply foam tips you are using? Thanks in advance!

With COMPLY Foam tips the ANC is better or only is to improve the fit?
Thanks.

It improves everything: fit, ANC and sound quality. Seal is much better so bass response improves as well. I would recommend getting the assorted kit that comes with L, M and S tips. Then after selecting the right for you, you can order only the size that fits you better. In my case, Large fits better with AirPods Pro 2.

So these are great if you buy different tips and a strap? /s

As others have said, the BFP have wingtips = more secure. I get it, you have bought them so you love them but to say they are more secure than sport focused IEM's is stretching it. I have (had) APP/PBP/BFP and have had Complys on all of them. The PBP win hands down for being secure but are bottom of the 3 when it comes to sound.

Dude, like I said, for me and for ear shape, the AirPods Pro 2 work better than BFP, period. I bought both and returned the BFP and COMPLY Foam Tips for them as well. I wanted to like the BFP as they are cheaper and the wingtips are suppose to help with fit, but in my case they didn't help and they even were hurting my ears.

Purchased Sep 27th and returned Sep 28th.
