AirPods Pro 2 Battery Percentage with Macbook

I just upgraded from 1 Gen AirPods Pro to Gen 2. The battery Percentage usually shows When I click the bluetooth icon at the upper left of my MacBook with Gen 1 but it's not showing with Gen 2. It only gives me the option to switch to Transparency and Noice cancellation modes. I'm running Big Sur 11.7


Does anyone have this issue?
