Having owned both AirPods Pro gens 1 & 2 I'm still constantly disappointed with the range of the bluetooth connectivity with the 2nd generation. With the first generation I could walk halfway across my house and still be connected. With the 2nd gen I can barely go to the next room when it disconnects.

I guess it's not a dealbreaker but just an annoyance that I have to now carry my iPhone or iPad with me wherever I go just to stay connected within range... Is this supposed to be normal? I remember reading about others having the same issue on Reddit before.

I don't see that at all with my APP2's. I can go 30' and 2 rooms away or to the other side of the house and down in the basement without losing connection (14 Pro Max & 13" M4 iPad). They work better than other buds or headphones I have used.

I have no connection issues in my house. I can leave my phone on the 2nd story, go to the basement, garage, out to the end of my drive way, around my back yard with zero issue. The only time I see a bit of interference is when my microwave is running.

Are you by chance running some sort of extreme case on your phone thats blocking signal strength?

I have not experienced this issue either. Whether walking around my house or heading to the lav on the airplane I have no connection issues leaving my phone behind. 30 feet from my phone seems about right for the limit.
