it thought that Hi-res Lossless was only for APP2 usbc using AVP? Is this actually playing Hi-Res or is it just a display bug?

If I change the Music settings between Lossless and Hi-Res Lossless while playing a song, there will be a short but distinct pause in the song.

I didn’t know any bluetooth device could run Hi-res Lossless. I thought it was only wired that would actually give you the extra quality of Hi-res.

My AirPods have always shown this when playing lossless or hi res lossless. I don’t think it’s a bug but it’s just how it is. Been like this for years for me

I think you will find that the Hi-Res Lossless and Lossless marker is what the track is recorded in or capable of playing rather than what your device is actually playing. It's always been like this. Even if you play a track using your iPhone speakers it will still show the marker. Its not a bug.
