My Airpods transparancy mode has been broken for 4 or so months now.
Must have been an update that changed the behaviour, making my ears feel clogged when using the transparency mode.
My girlfriend has the newer airpods pro 2 with the usb-c case while I have the lightning case. Hers work perfectly and they’re a dream to use.

I almost never use mine anymore due to the clogged, closed off feeling I get.

i’ve tried resetting them, change settings and other devices.

I’m currently using the exact same lightning AirPods Pro 2 with the same model and version number. Obviously a different serial number. I don’t have any clogged feeling.

Go under the control panel on your iPhone and hold the volume slider. Turn noise control off. That should give you a slight clogged feeling. If it doesn’t change, that means something is wrong. I would examine them closely and check if any of the vent holes are clogged. Perhaps some debris or earwax is causing a problem.
