AirPods Pro 2 load static and popping sound

I apologize if this was discussed already, but was just winding if this is a known issue. i just got the AirPods Pro 2 and i am experiencing load static and popping from the left AirPod.It happens after a minute or two with ANC turned on. I captured the sound on video .

You should be sending that video to Apple Support.

Go to Apple or their Certified Resellers to fix it or replace under guarantee. Sounds like new version of Rattle Gate (can search forum for it)

I already did..They said that they can send them in for repair but as I just got them I’ll probably just return them as defective and get my money back…. I ordered them from Amazon during the prime sale the other day( always a little hesitant to order tech off Amazon).I factory reset them and I think that may have fixed the issue but I’ll try them over the next few days.

I was thinking the same thing but I thought the rattle only effects AirPods Pro 1st gen made before October 2020 or something and they already fixed it along time ago. Seems strange that it would be an issue on the pro 2 unless it was never fixed….

I had this problem with my gen 1 pros and apple replaced them… and now the replacements the noise canceling and transparency modes just stopped working, that’s why I got the new ones…I guess I just have bad luck with AirPods lol.

That happened to my 1 year old Air Pod 1 and I got them replaced. After another year or so it happened again, and I got them replaced. Similar things have happened with other brands too which is why I always get protection plans.

I think sweat and other things can cause it over time. Get them replaced.
