Not sure if it’s just me or a placebo but my AirPods Pro 2 seems a lot louder after the iOS 17 update and the AirPods Pro 2 update, not sure what one made it louder but I played some music and couldn’t have it on max volume where as before I could, anyone else noticed it has gotten louder, not sure what update done that if it was the iOS 17 update or the AirPods Pro 2 update

Please don’t do that, you’re going to ruin your hearing. Unless you mostly listen to really old records with dynamic but generally quieter sound, it shouldn’t be necessary to listen at anywhere near max volume. Enable the hearing thingy in the Control center, it shows a live dB value as you’re listening. If it’s above 80 dB, try going a bit easier on your ears.

The best thing about Airpods Pro is that you don't have to turn them up as much because noise cancelling works so well. I'm listening on average 15dB lower in volume than my previous headphones simply because they don't have to compete with background noise.
