Airpods Pro 2: people here environment noise not me

Dear community,
I have noticed a weird behavior of how noise cancelation works. When I am walking down the street and talking and if there is a car passing by, people pass by me talking, then the person that I am talking to would here the noise from around me and not me. Anyone with the same issue?

it's noticeably worse in that respect than the original APP, especially with actual noise-type elements (crunching, car noises, wind, etc).

Conversely pickup performance in a quiet area is noticeably better.

Doesn’t happen to me. If I’m out with ANC on a call, people will hear me and occasionally hear surrounding noise, but always me.
