I’m trying to save up money on purchasing the AP Pro 2.

Now I have the original Apple wired earbuds that came a long time ago that was included in the iPhone packaging and those REALLY REALLY hurt my ear. I mean it’s torture…

My question is, does the AP Pro 2 cause ear pain or has Apple improved the design on those? I know there included with rubber ends which hopefully will ease the fit for the ear.

I find that APP are very comfortable for long usage, probably because of the silicone tips. That said, I know that for some people, they are not staying very well in the ears. You have different tip sizes, so you'll likely find something that is fitting well for your ears

The pros have silicone tips, so the fit is very different compared to the hard plastic on the other AirPods, or the wired ones. They include 4 different sizes in the box (XS, S, M, L). If those don't work for you, there are also third party options, I use a memory foam one, it gives it a bit better seal, but the foam does break down over a few months of being squished in your ear. The ones I have are from comply.

I do have large ear holes. The regular wired EarPods immediately fall right out. The other aipods will stay until I move a couple times, then fall out. So your experience with tips will be different than mine. Also why I use the foam ones, since they are a tiny big bigger than apple's.

not sure what the policy is now, but pre-covid you could try out AirPods in the Apple Store. They'd let you pair them to your phone and test the fit and the sound.

Got the APP 2 😁😁😁
Fits well but time will tell.

Don’t have to worry about it falling out unless I workout like doing push-ups or heavy jogging.

But one question, seen a YouTube video were you can just tap on the case to see the charging LED light status but it doesn’t show the light. Maybe it’s because it only works when not charging?

It also appears working on my other iPhone which is a SE (1st generation). I was amazed.

There's a button on the back.
