Tried to put on my APP2 this morning and found them to be completely dead, after not using them for a few days. They were completely non-responsive, no light when I plugged in the charging case, and my phone did not detect them at all putting the pods in my ears. I was about to make an appointment at the Apple store, but did go ahead and followed their troubleshooting procedure, which was to hold down the pairing button on the rear of the case for 15 seconds. Sure enough they came back to life, and I did not have to pair it again. The battery case made the low battery sound immediately when it came back on and showed 10% battery remaining, while the pods themselves were at 100%.

I've never seen this happen before with the original APP. Any of you guys experienced this with your APP2?

Never had this on AirPods Pro 1 gen, but I was nicely surprised with pop up informing that case is dead.

For me it’s a quite nice feature to save battery from complete depletion from FindMy

I want to add that I'm still running iOS 15.7 on my phone, so my APP2 are not showing in Find My.
