AirPods Pro 2 (with USB-C) Case Beeps

I have noticed that sometimes when I close my AirPods Pro 2 (with USB-C) case that it will beep a few times. I suspect that happens when the battery goes below a certain level. Is that what is happening? My case battery level is currently at 30%. Is there official documentation explaining this?

Also, any official documentation on what the LED color means?

It happens when the case charge is below 40%.

Basically Orange means it is charging, green that the charge is full.
