AirPods Pro 2?

Does anyone know if APP are being superseded by a newer APP model? By this I’m not referring to the over the ear AirPod studio rumours.

Before dropping £200, I’m wondering if it’s worth waiting a little longer for a new version of APP to be released. For example, could they make the newer APP model 100% waterproof? That all said, I don’t really want to be waiting for 6-12 months.

Thoughts most welcome!

Good to know thanks. So best go for the APP? A shame they are not waterproof as will be wearing them for running outdoors.

I don't see them introducing any new AirPods until spring 2021 at the earliest.

There is an event expected next month, but it's supposed to be an ARM MacBook event. It's possible they may introduce the AirPods Studios next month I suppose. There have been no supply chain leaks about new AirPods 3 or AirPods Pro 2 to suggest anything is imminent.

That’s really helpful to know thanks. I guess one needs to know these things before forming out £200! Otherwise it would be rather annoying to find out they’ve been superseded by a newer model after just buying a pair. The APP seem rather good for music and running outdoors. I’d sell my 2nd gen on eBay as they are not sweat resistant
