I've received my new Airpods Pro today. First try - everything seems to work perfectly. After few minutes of use and charging anc stops working. I can not enable it. It says put both Airpods in your ears. Ear tip fit test is also not working. Anyone?

I had a similar issue when I first started using the Airpods Pro. ANC was working and I kept switching back and forth between that and transparency for testing. Then all of the sudden ANC was not turning on in the earphones, even though I could select it in the iPhone volume settings. Holding earphone sensor didn't give the tone to switch modes, either.

I ended up putting them back in the case for a few minutes then put them back in my ear and then ANC started working again.

Oh, and when I was having the issue I could hear that ANC was enabling right when I started a ear fit test and then ANC would turn off when fit test completed.

Yep! Same here. Just posted this in the other thread. I'm sure Apple will patch this in their new weekly (sometimes bi weekly) updates lmfao. Thank god for that!

I had the exact same issue when testing them first. I stuck them back in the case for an hour, and now it’s working perfectly. Also I noticed my fw got upgraded so that could also be the reason why everything got fixed

What firmware are you on now? I'm currently showing 2B584 but have no idea if it was different when I was having my issues earlier with ANC.

On this 2B584, issue is not resolved and have not gotten a prompt for an update.

Update - 25B84 is the current update according to google and fixed a charging issue.

Mine are on 25B84 too. I’ve tried to reset them to factory settings by holding button on case for 15 sec, unfortunately no success. Seems like faulty item, calling Apple today for replacement.
