I got the APM when Costco had a sale a few weeks back. $429, so defitely best price I have seen so far.

I connected them to my iMac 2019 and wasn't that impressed with sound but then i connected to my iPhone 13 Pro and sound quality was way better. Same music in the cloud, ram a subscriber to the $25 service Apple has which gives me access to my music library wherever I am.
Is it the hardware in iMac 2019 or the software level (I am still on Mojave since I use some 32 bit apps).

I tried with my old APP1 and same result. What am i missing? i looked up my iMac and it is supposed to be bluetooth 5 compatible.

Thoughts?

Check your Audio Settings. Not sure about iMac, but the iPhone has Data Streaming Quality & EQ settings which may differ to your iMac audio settings.

I have an Intel iMac, iPad, and iPhone. Sound on iMac is definitely not as good as on the other devices. I don't really know why.

Good to hear. Started to think I was the only one making this observation.
