Nintendo released a new system update yesterday (13.0.0) which added support for Bluetooth Audio. I have already heard of other people successfully using AirPods and AirPods Pro on the system. I can get them to pair but there is no audio output. I even removed them from my phone’s Bluetooth setting. I was able to connect and use my Bose QC35 without issue. Anyone try this yet? I have a flight next week and this would be nice to have with the AirPods.

I connected my PBP and the audio was barely noticeable so you may need to turn up the volume to maximum to hear it. There is a max headphone limit in the settings which could be causing the issue.

I’m still not sure what the issue could be. I just paired my older standard AirPod’s and they worked perfectly fine. Sound was loud and clear. Maybe it’s the firmware? I’m on 3E571 at the moment.

Glad I saw this post. I just made the update to my switch and connected my APP and they worked right out the gate with now volume issues, and ANC worked as well. Maybe disconnect them from the switch and repair?

I was happy to see noise cancellation working. The only problem I had was online in splatoon 2 I had to move my switch closer to the WiFi point when I have my headphones connected the switch seems like it struggles to hold a WiFi connection. So far it’s kinda spotty especially if you play online.

I got them to work after a quick chat with Apple Support. I guess some units may need a “Full Reset”. After I reset my AirPod Pro’s, they work fine now. I wasn’t aware that you could reset the AirPods otherwise I probably would have tried that first. Anyway here is a link the support rep sent me with the procedure.
