AirPods Pro app/script for MacOS?

Hi,
Any ideas how to make a shortcut in MacOS to pause the music and switch on the transparency mode? Also when invoked again to switch to noice cancellation mode and resume playing?
I constantly have to do that in order make a quick conversation in the office when someone has a question and it's annoying to do two actions with the AirPods Pro controls or click the pause and then click the sound icon in the top bar to turn on the transparency mode.
