Hello all,

Im wandering if anyone can help, or at least whether anyone is experiencing something similar.
Basically, i have a pair of airpods pro which im using with a brand new series 5 LTE watch. Sometimes, after putting in the airpods and going to play music on the watch, the sound sort of seems slightly slo mo and then after 5 seconds crackles slightly and cuts out. The music app will still show its playing and ive found the only way to fix the problem is restart bluetooth even in settings or by restarting. Its soo anooying!

Im also having a few other issues but it seems like most of them are commoplace. I get the red exclamation marks from time to time. Also, if i switch between devices often the sound will go quiet or the audio will cut out to one earbud. I have to take them both out and then both back in to fix that. One other thing i experience is sometimes with the watch the audio won't pause when I take out one bud.

Anyway, the key issues whats in the title. Im reluctant to call apple support as i feel it will just be massive headache involving doing all the basic troubleshooting steps we all know. Yes, all my software is up to date; ive trued restarting; resetting airpods etc. Should i just exchange them?

One other thing, i have a pair of powerbeats 3 and even when the airpods are playing up they work flawlessly. Makes me feel more sure its a problem with the airpods...

I'm sure you've done all this but if not, in Blyetooth settings 'Forget This Device' and repair by holding back button on case.
Then hold both buttons on watch until Apple logo appears.
Not sure what iPhone you have but if no Home button, press up vol., then down vol., then hold side power button until Apple logo appears.

If no joy after all that it would seem you have a faulty set.:(

(Sorry if you know to do all that but just in case)

Thanks for the suggestion. But yes, ive tried that. And it happens even without the iphone present. Feeling a little fed up with Apple. My first seties 5 watch had to be sent back as speaker was faulty. Then we had all these software bugs in iOS 13 and watchOS 6. Now this.
