AirPods Pro auto play audio and settings forgotten...

I’m getting quite annoyed with the APP’s now, they don’t remember settings, each time I have set gestures, noise cancelling with one earphones etc, it’s forgotten the next time I use the.

Even more annoyingly when I take them out of their case my iPhone 12 Pro banner tells me they’re connected,... So I play audio and it plays from the iPhone. I have to manually switch audio to the APPs.

is it just me? I’ve tried unpairing and re-pairing, resetting etc. to no avail.

The problem is widely known. Apple's service team have confirmed this to me, no solution available yet. I guess we'll have to wait for a firmware upgrade.

Guess I thought it was just me, having not heard others complain. Thanks mate.
