Airpods Pro Autoplay

I picked up the Airpods Pro this morning and love it. However, after setting it up and hooking it to my ear, it autoplays the music, which I do not want. I may have overlooked this in the settings and in the Music Settings but is there a way to turn off this autoplay?

Nevermind. I think I've been taping on the stem while plugging it in and thus playing the music right as I put it in my ear.
