AirPods Pro bug - iPhone refuses to go over to internal mic despite APP audio output deselected

When I remove the APP but leave them outside of the case and select the iPhone for audio output, then the iPhone continues using the APP for the mic - which won't work if the APP are in my jeans or in my bag - e.g. result is that if I am at a store, take the APP out off, then I cannot use Siri for anything.

Unless I put the APP in the case the iPhone refuses to use the phone mic.

Any fixes / anyone else with this bug?

Putting your APPs in your jeans sounds like a good way to lose them. Why don't you just put them in Transparency when you're in the store?

I consider it a common courtesy to take earphones out of my ears when I engage in a conversation.
