I've been saving for the past months for them. Should I buy them now or wait for a new model to come out? what are your suggestions?

I just got mines today. Verizon store has a sale on them for $219.

I have to say, the Noise Cancellation and Transparency modes alone are worth the money. I was shockingly surprised how good those modes are. The sound is good too. Much better than my previous Airpods Gen 2.

I also have a pair of Galaxy Buds+. They have a richer sound than the Airpods Pro. Comparing Transparency mode, the Galaxy Buds+ fall way behind. External noise sounds very artificial, but you get use to it. The Airpods Pro Transparency external noise sounds almost like you're wearing regular airpods, basically natural sound.

I read so many reviews on these, I have to say, I'm fortunate that it fits my ears perfectly. Didn't have to change the tips. My ears are on the small side, so it stays in my ears well.

The only downside I noticed so far are, these are not carefree flickable taking in and out of the case like the regular Airpods. So I got to be careful when I'm outside.

I would recommend buying these.

I don't think they'll be updating the Pro's anytime soon. The update allegedly being discussed in the rumors are for the regular AirPods, to make them more like the Pro's, minus the noise cancellation/actual "pro" features. I'd get it now or whenever you see a price you like.

It might be worth waiting in case Apple offers a discount alongside buying a new iPhone in the fall (if they're not including the EarPods in the case), but that's just a rumor at this point.

I'd buy them now. Who knows how long you'll have to wait for the next generation.

I, personally, just bought a pair on Monday from Verizon at the $219 price. Was going back and forth the last few months since they've dropped this low, but finally decided to cave. I use 1st gen air pods daily for phone calls although the battery lasts less than an hour. For traveling I've been using the Sony WF-1000XM3 and while they're fantastic, they are heavy so don't stay in as well as I'd like. Plan on comparing the Air Pods Pro next time I'm on a flight.

First impressions are that the APP fit well, are comfortable/light, noise cancellation works well, and they sound fine. I really dislike the *squeeze* to change anything. I feel it is too easy to knock the seal out of your ears and is just a stupid way to change settings. At least compared to a simple *tap* of the regular Air Pods

Personally I can't recommend them right now to friends since I'm in the Rattlegate zone - So I voted WAIT. My first pair developed issues after 3 months, my replacement pair now have developed the issue too after 2.5 months.

I'd just say - read the Rattlegate thread here first before purchasing.

I'm sure the percentage of happy owners far outways the unhappy owners - but good luck either way!
