Hello everyone. I wasn't sure where to go with the issue. So I thought id post it here. Ive had my Airpods Pro since Jan. And I notice from time to time when I put the airpods Pro inside its case to charge that the left one always had a connection issue with the case. The right one never had an issue.

Ive had the airpods replaced at a apple store once hoping that would resolve it. Same thing still from time to time even if I clean out the case with a q-tip with alcohol. Its rare I ever have to clean the right side to make the connection for charging. Always felt like its the left side of the case that always has an issue even if I clean it out a few times.

Sometimes it will be ok and last a few days of connecting to charge and back to cleaning it all over again. Or sometimes the left side just being a pain no matter how many times I clean it and place the airpod in. Should I go to my local Apple store and have them take a look at the case to see if there replace it? I have a apple care warranty on it. So thought id ask. Or should I try something else?

Any thoughts guys would be appreciated. Cause its truly getting annoying. :(

Mine does exactly the same thing. It’s infuriating to get ready to do cardio and have the left at 0% and the right fully charged.

Did you ever resolve this?

I also have had the issue, also with the left APP. I was talking to Apple Support (an unrelated issue) but mentioned this and how would I know whether to replace the Left APP or the Case - don't really know which has the issue. He said since I have Apple Care+, just request they exchange everything. Have not called yet - because of course yesterday and today I have not had the issue since I disconnected the AirPods Pro from my iPhone 12 and re-connected them.

I have had this issue with both AP and APP. It’s persistent but sporadic enough that I wonder if it’s a general issue with the charging design and not with individual pairs…

If I put the APP into the case, tilt the case so that the left side is down, push the top of the left APP to the left, close the case, and leave them charging vertically with the left side of the case down, the left one charges. Every time.

I think there is a problem with the device's battery. Have they tried looking into it? If you have it fixed, you might as get a refund or just buy another earpods.

Same here. I've cleaned it all, but sometimes the left plug doesn't connect. But reinserting them a couple of times and try again seems to resolve the issue.

Sometimes it does and sometimes I’d still get 0% battery on the left and 100% on the right.

Turning the charging case on its left has worked every single time for me. I don’t know why it’s not making a good charging connection otherwise, or why it’s always the left one with the issue, but at least they are working every time now.

Other then shaking my case upside down seems to fix it temporarily lol usually have to use alcohol and a q tip clean inside the left side that resolves it. Usually shaking the case upside works. Just such a pain.

I had a problem with this once. It turned out that the skin I had on the case was preventing it from shutting properly.
