I've had AirPods Pro for about a week now. They work fine with all my other devices, but the Late 2014 iMac 5K has trouble with them. It's running the latest Catalina, it doesn't have any crazy customizations, kernel drivers etc... I keep it "clean".
If I interact with the computer at all, AirPods Pro drop most of the audio. Constant interaction means no sound. If I don't touch it at all, the audio might play with only a few drops. If I scroll or switch apps, the audio is gone. And often it's gone even if I do nothing. It comes and goes, like a broken wire.
System log knows this much, I don't see anything else that's related:

Other bluetooth devices (keyboard, trackpad) are having no problems, and other BT headphones work. During the drops there are no stuck processes, and the CPUs are almost idle. This is the only problem I've got with this Mac. This is not a "busy" BT environment.
I wonder if others have these same issues. AirPods Gen 1 and 2 worked fine.
