AirPods Pro ear detection sucks?

If I put my AirPods Pro in my pockets, loose, they think they're in my ears. If I put them on a table, they often think they're in my ears. If I hold them in my hands they think they're in my ears.

I never had this problem with the original AirPods. Does anyone else experience this?

That’s why they have a handy case.

By not using the case to store them, you risk dust etc clogging vents/microphones. You also risk other objects pressing up against sensors, throwing them off & maybe making them less/more sensitive.

I suggest you use your case more often/all the time.
