AirPods Pro Faint click on stem

So I’m sure this is totally normal but wanted to make sure since I paid $250 for these things... when you switch between transparency noise cx and off by squeezing the stem of the bud is there supposed to be a faint click? Just making sure I’m not squeezing too hard and it’s not a cracking sound.... thanks!

Yes, the click is a sound effect played by the speaker.

Yes, it’s totally normal. The sound is meant as a haptic feedback for every click. It happens for all types of clicks like skipping songs too.
