AirPods Pro firmware update

I have tried everything others have suggested to get the 4C165 update. Mine are still on 3E751. Anyone else? Thanks

Just received this from Apple support

1. Pair AirPods Pro with iOS, iPadOS, or macOS device.
2. Listen to 30 seconds or more of music
3. Put them back in the case connected to power and close the lid.
4. Wait 30 minutes and the update should happen.

If the case is opened before it's done then the update is interrupted and will start over.

You don't have to put them in the case. If you just take off the headphones and set them next to your phone, it will update in a bit.

How did you find out. I have tried the steps above and also resetting them and restarting phone and nothing is working.

Wouldn't worry about it. It will happen with time. Unless you are just trying to update for the sake of updating them...odd...

No - I have been have problems with auto switching and was hoping this update would fix it. So, yes, I would like to figure out how to do it and yes I always update right away anyhow.
