I have always had standard AirPods and been fairly happy with them.

Now I decided to try AirPods Pro Gen.2 and hit the wall right away.

No matter which plugs I try, the AirPods won't fit my ears. I also tried a third party memory foam version that looked good on paper, but still didn't do they job.

I know this is almost a impossible question, but any suggestions to make this work? Are there any other third party products that could possible remedy this issue?

I would have said foam tips, they've solved the fit issue for me, but you mentioned they didn't work. Maybe your ears are just in between sizes. You could potentially try those silicone ear books, I used to use those before I discovered the foam tips.

I have the same problem. AirPods simply wouldn’t stay firmly attached to my ears regardless of tip size I used. There are third-party “hooks” which attach to the AirPods themselves. Some “hook” around your ear, others sort of “hook” to the folds inside of your ear. Example -

Didn’t try them. In the end, I gave the AirPods Pro to my wife and I settled for Beats Powerbeats Pro with the ear hooks. The Beats sound great to me.

I used those, they did work well. Issue was you had to take them off to put them in the case. So I ultimately went with foam tips, as they can stay on even in the case.

My ultimate solution was new tips and I added covers. Now they stay in my ears perfectly and I pass the fit test every time. I still have to wipe my ears with an isopropyl alcohol wipe before I wear them, but I’ve always had to do this. This isn’t unique to AirPods Pro for me.
