I think since purchasing Airpods Pro 2nd gen, my iPhone 14 Pro has been draining battery overnight with “Find My”. About 5-6% per night.

I’m guessing the Airpods work similarly to Airtags and keep pinging to the phone?

Anyone else experience this?

5-6 % in 8 - 10 hours isn't very much. I just got my new APP 2 and I will check my 14 pro battery tomorrow morning. My charger automatically cuts off when the charge gets to 100% at night so, it will be interesting to see what it looks like tomorrow.

I just replaced my original AirPod Pro’s with 2nd gen ones and am seeing constant usage of “Find My“ that I did not have before. I have now disabled Find My Network in the AirPod settings to see if that resolves the issue. What I gather with it disabled it should work just like 1st gen and only track the last place they were used, instead of constantly pinging like an AirTag.

Anyone else turn off Find My Network in the AirPods settings?

Did you find if this ended up helping?
