I have various in-ear headphones that I use: Bose QC1, B&W Pi7 and others. I just tried out the AirPods Pro Gen2 at the AppleStore yesterday and I was shocked at how well they fit in my ear. I actually had to return the Sony XM4s because they kept falling out of my ear. But The AirPods Pro2 felt quite secure.
The one major issue I found was just deep, rumbly bass. The song I played was Search and Rescue by Drake. I know how song sounds on my other headphones (even my audiophile ones) so I know the bass was overly emphasized. I asked an employee if I could EQ the bass down and he said no.
I just searched for this and I see tons of search results of people complaining about this issue. But I also saw this solution:
Since I don't have AirPods Pro2, I can't test this for myself. Can only the bass be turned down? And if I connect the AirPods Pro2 to my AppleWatch at the gym, will this lower bass setting be respected?
