This should be a good thing technically but it confused me. I wore my Pros today while at a park doing outdoor activity for a good 5 hours. Playing music the entire time (via YouTube Music). Four hours into the fun, the 'dead' battery sound emitted from both of them:
AirPods Dying Sound Effect
But they continued to work for another hour! No interruption of music, no lowering of volume. First time I even heard this outside my Walmart ONN clones (of course, they make the sound, they instantly go dead).
Did I get a false alert? I mean 5 hours is darned good runtime and zero interruptions. I was under the impression they were intended for no more than 4 hours max. It's the second time this sound happened, but the first time it was my case that died making the sound as the little light refused to come on when I later put the Pros back in.
