I have a pair of AirPods Pro (latest firmware) that I’ve been using for months with both my personal iPhone (iOS14) and my corporate iPhone (iOS13.7). I’ve been successfully switching between them throughout the day without issue. However, this morning, when I went to put them in to use with my personal phone, they were not visible, discoverable, anything. I noticed that the light was not coming on so I started charging them and it came back on. Odd that they were dead as I left the case on my charging mat overnight. Even after they were charging, they would not connect and I had to forget them and set them up again. Finally got them working, but when I went to use them with my corporate iPhone (separate iCloud/AppleID) it told me I needed to forget the device and add them again. But when I do this, it decouples them from my personal phone. So I’m stuck in this loop where I can only have them tied to one or the other phone. Never had this problem before, I’ve been using them interchangeably for months. I don’t know if it’s an iOS14 thing. Still on 13.7 for my work phone as corporate has not approved upgrades to 14 yet. Any ideas?

Okay, never mind. Of course I get it fixed right after posting. Still no explanation for what happened overnight, but I forgot them on all my devices, did a factory reset on them and added them to my personal phone. Then set them up on my work phone and it seems to be fine now. I think perhaps I held the button too long when adding them to my work phone before and that disconnected them from my personal phone.
