Airpods pro not as loud as airpods 2nd gen?

Ok so I noticed right off the bat that APP are not quite as loud as my 2nd gen airpods, even with ANC on. I have to crank up the volume to 80%ish to get the same loudness as my 2nd gen at 50%. Is this normal..?

Always thought they were a little too quiet for my liking as well.

Didn't this forum used to have a feature that suggested joining an existing thread when starting a similar thread?

This topic was discussed at length when the AirPod Pros first came out. The latest firmware did nothing to help this issue.
