AirPods Pro not automatically switching back to MacBook

So, if I choose them manually from my macbook, when I play something on my iPhone, they change automatically to the iPhone. But this doesn't work the other way around. Any ideas?

p.S: this works correctly between my iPhone and my iPad too. A bit disappointed...

AirPods not Switching Automatically to Mac

FINALLY was able to update my new MacBook Pro to MacOS Big Sur with the promise of automatic switching between devices for my airpods.

Unfortunately it only works between my iPad and iPhone. I can also connect manually my AirPods to my Mac by clicking it under “sound” and it transfers TO my iPhone BUT the audio connection doesn’t go back to my Mac.

Anyone else experiencing this? Do we know the fix?
