AirPods Pro Production Date

Do AirPods Pro produced after Oct 2020 come with a production date printed on the box

I have a person selling a sealed set who claims a production date is printed on the box , 01/2021

Not that I'm aware of. I purchased one last week but it was made November 2021 (by looking at the serial number). And doesn't have the production date printed on the box. Typically you can decode the serial number and find out when it was made. Typically it's the 4th digit is the year, and 5th digit is the week.

However, that may change this year as they plan to stop using those serial numbers.
