I don't often use earbuds, but saw the refurbished airpod pro's on walmart.com and decided to get some. So I have never used an ANC anything but I am trying to figure out if I am not understanding the concept correctly or if the ANC part of these referbished airpods pro are not working?

Can you think of any way I can test this out for sure or a video to help explain it to me. So far I see zero difference when I switch between ANC and transparency. Am I doing something wrong?

If you are in a noisy environment, the sound around you will immediately deaden. I tried in the apple store and on a street filled with people and both times, it quieted down. Make sure you turn it on in the Bluetooth settings, click on the letter i next to the Pros (or you can squeeze the stems)

Thanks for the input... I have been listening to things on them and will toggle between on and off and don't notice a difference and am in a not quiet but not loud environment so makes me wonder if they are not working correctly especially since they are refurbished.

So a friend at work let me try his anker units to hear the difference in noise canceling..... I could barley tell a difference, so maybe my expectations are off. Strange thing is now my phone is freezing up when trying to use it.... apparently this is some kind of issue with iOS 14...... this experience is not off to a good start.

I read but am not sure that there are fakes out there and one sign is they don't have the anc. So if you are having trouble I suggest you take to apple store or return.

Thanks. I would have hoped that walmart wouldn't have that problem, but anyway...... these might be going back....
