I know it is to be expected with in ear headphones, but are others experiencing the thump each step while running? Does anything he’ll reduce that? It’s my only complaint with the headphones.

I don't think anything can reduce this issue for an in-ear design.

Like you, it's something that bothers me immensely (with all in-ear headphones) and I think it's just part and parcel with the style of headphone.

It seems to bother only some of us, but for those of us it does - it's a total deal breaker

Ran w/APP for first time yesterday. Did not notice a thump. Was very pleased with that.
I've ran with Jaybird's Vista, and the thump is very noticeable.

Have you tried to change the listening mode? It might less of a problem with transparency mode.

I did and it was still there. I need to try with a different size tip next.
