I am thoroughly enjoying my AirPods Pro and have just ordered a few pairs for family members as Christmas? gifts. They are back ordered and I was quoted an estimated delivery date of January 9th from Apple online store. I was wondering if these estimates had been holding firm, or moving up at all?

TIA

Shipping estimate has not budget and new orders have pushed back to Jan 13. I'm surprised they undershot holiday demand so significantly.

Just came up again on Amazon if you need by Christmas, but will likely be gone very soon.

Thanks for the heads up. As you predicted, already gone. However I will put in a standing order with Amazon and maybe get lucky if they come up again. Thanks for the idea.

I just got a shipping notice from Amazon. Strange how Amazon is getting stock quicker than direct from Apple.

Actually, I erred. Seems the dates are further out with custom engraving. I see Jan 15 without. I can see that with Amazon. I’m still evaluating what I’m replacing my tried and true Beats X with. However, I do play around on Apple‘s site while drinking my morning coffee, and yesterday for instance my local brick and mortar actually had APP in stock on the site from 10a to 10:20a or so for today pickup. Then it will go a few days, and bingo there they are again right at 10a just for 20min or so. You most likely caught Amazon “right in the zone.”:apple:
