Airpods pro store availability tomorrow

I walk by the World Trade Center Apple store every morning on my way to work. I stopped in today and spoke to one of the managers who I know. She told me they have plenty of Airpod Pro's for tomorrow morning, and most of the big stores should as well.... She said as long as you are there close to opening time you shouldn't have an issue snagging one.

Spoke too soon, it's 7:15 am here in the central time zone and apple store near me shows available for pick up. Placing an order for 2 for pick up.

8am EST is when the Apple Store app showed that Airpod Pros were available for in store pickup for me. Ordered mine, waiting for notification, and will go in later for pickup.

Hmm..seems like the APP has a very strong demand in my area. Yesterday, the received over 100 of them and all were sold out yesterday by the time the store closed. Today, they received more, (well like 20 more) and now the store shows no in-store pick up.

In my area every store for 100 miles had quite a few in-stock for pickup yesterday.. fast forward to today and it's down to one store with availability. Seems like these are going very quickly, especially since other stores like BestBuy don't seem to have received stock yet.

Online shipping dates keep slipping through the second week of November as well.
