Both are available at the same price. Which one would be better?
Depends how you intend to use them. I have both. Sony’s have the best sound, best ANC (APP’s have very good sound and excellent ANC) but, they are much larger. I use my WH1000XM3’s at home and the APP’s when I’m out and about. The APP’s are better for work outs. If you are heavy into the Apple ecosystem the APP’s are more convenient and integrate with your Apple devices better. If I could only have one it would be the APP’s as they work well under most situations.

This. I ended up selling my Sonys a few weeks ago because, despite the better sound quality (bass!!) the AirPods Pro are just so much more convenient.

Completely agree with the previous responses. My Sony headphones for long term listening such as flights etc and AirPods are for day to day listening such as daily commute and gym.
