That said, my guess is no.

I don't recall them ever marketing wired earphones/earbuds in black under the Apple brand, going all the way back to the first iPod. That's nineteen years where Apple clearly had the opportunity to do so and declined. They even shipped white earbuds with their black iPods.

They never released the first nor second generation AirPods in black. I assume this is a deliberate brand identity choice not a production challenge since there are a bajillion black earpods/earbuds/etc. in the market.

Apple does not seem to have any qualms about releasing black colored devices under their Beats brand though.

Not likely, Apples headphones are iconic. Looking back on how the iPod were promoted and the cultural impact black bodies dancing with only the white earbuds to as a contrast is so "apple" that it will never change.
starting to make them in other colours then white will make them less noticeable and most likely give the a cheap feel/look
