Hello everyone! I know it sounds weird but I feel so.

Every time I try to watch YouTube videos with my AirPods in my years, the quality of the video drops, the video always stops in order for buffering. Is it made for the seamless picture and sound in my ears? Or why?
It starts to look this way.

At the first moment I thought, that something is wrong with my Internet connection. But as soon as I disconnected my AirPods in order to investigate what's wrong, I found out that without them connected to my MacBook, the Internet works perfectly fine.

Is it issue or a feature? Can someone, please, check this out? I'm a little bit concerned.

Bluetooth and 2.4ghz wifi don't play well. I'd recommend either changing your router for something more modern or changing the channel your current router is using.

Oh, thank you so much!
Maybe you have some recommendations about the router? I absolutely have no idea what's going on on this market. Is Apple's router a good idea?

Nope, they're expensive and haven't been updated for some time.

Almost any dual-band ASUS router is a good shout. They're frequently patched with firmware updates, are very customisable, and are great value for money. Get an 802.11ac router; even something very cheap like the ASUS RT-AC51U won't break the bank but will make a massively positive difference.

@Weaselboy has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to routers, so I'm hoping he'll be happy to throw some suggestions your way. :)

Thank you so much! Money is not really an issue, I think it's quite wise to spend some money on a good product that works very nice you know, than spend less and messing around then and spend even more.
Will also be grateful to @Weaselboy for the response.

Something like the ASUS RT-AC87U or the ASUS RT-AC3200 would be more than enough; they're both absolute beasts with great signal strength and incredible bandwidth. Even a gigabit Internet connection on full whack wouldn't begin to saturate it.

I agree with @keysofanxiety that while the Apple routers are not really bad routers, there are others in that class of router that have better performance and far more features for less money.

Each year Smallnetbuilder does an overview of routers and makes recommendations. For I think the third year now they are still recommending the AC1900 class of routers like the Asus AC68U and the Netgear R7000. Both have been out a while now and have mature firmware. You can easily spend double that on newer MU-MIMO type routers, but get zero increase in performance since no current Apple product has MU-MIMO client hardware.

Of the two mentioned, I'm partial to the Asus model since Asus seems to keep updating firmware on older routers longer than Netgear, but there is nothing wrong with the Netgear.

I have ac87u and it is an excellent product, but it has its weakness. There is a newer version of it 88u or even ac3200 if you need a good speed for several devices at once.

If you just do the normal stuff etc, already mentioned ac68u is a great choice.

I'm also having this issue and contacted apple but they couldn't figure out what it was. What was your solution?
