Hi!
I have been contemplating getting a pair of airpods when the second generation comes out. I have always avoided using the wires EarPods that Apple shipped with the phones since they would fall out when I went running or even if I was talking. Are the airpods the same way? I’m sure not having the cord helps but do they feel different compared to the ear pods?

Also, I have read that the ones that come out in 2020 may have a new design. What else can they do to change them? Any ideas? I love the idea of having them but want them to be able to stay in my ear when I go running or talk to someone.

Thanks!

Actually, there’s new AirPods rumored to debut in 2019, not 2020. And the design as far as I know, isn’t rumored to change, aside from adding new features. The latest rumor suggests AirPods version 2 could launch within this month.

If the 1st gen Airpods fall out of your ears the 2nd gen will also. My suggestion to you is read this thread for ideas on how to make them fit better for your particular ear size.
