I have a friend who is getting into video production. He will upload rough cuts of videos for me to check out. I download the MOV file and if I play it, using Quicktime, with the internal speakers on my M1 MacBook PRO, everything works fine. If I connect my AirPods Pro 2's, and play the video, Quicktime locks up (spinning beachball) every time. I have to force quit Quicktime, and once I restart it, then things start playing through my AirPods Pro's...Thinking it might be his video causing the problem, I tried some others MOV based videos, and I can get QuickTime to crash every single time...It's doing the same thing with MP4 files as well...

Open MOV Video in Quicktime and use Internal Speakers = MOV plays fine

Open MOV Video in Quicktime then Connect AirPods to MacBook Pro = Quicktime locks up and crashes when played
Connect AirPods to MacBook Pro first, then open MOV file in Quicktime, locks up and crashes when played

Doesn't matter, as soon as I connect the AirPods on any standalone video in QuickTime, instant crash and beach ball of death...Any ideas?
