Got my AirPods yesterday at store and extremely happy. One question though - what do you guys experience in terms of volume? I am listening to music through Apple Music and even while turned up all the way it's not that loud. I did turned off the sound check in the music setting (which results in even louder sound) but still I just feel it's not at a level that you can't tolerate. Thanks for your feedback.

Why would you want a volume level that you can't tolerate? I feel mine are quite loud. My quess would be that Apple doesn't want to be responsible for a bunch of lawsuits because they allowed the volume of them to be set to "intolerable" levels. Plus the louder it goes, the more likely damage can happen to the speakers would be my guess.

Mine are louder than any EarPods I've owned, frankly the max volume is physically painful to me but I've always been sensitive to loud noise anyway....

Just in case you're outside listening to music and not in a quiet environment

On your phone turn bluetooth off and on. Then pair the AirPods again. Someone on one of the blogs had indicated that fixed his volume problem. I’m very happy with the volume setting on my AirPods. The volume range seems about the same as the EarPods.
