I have seen some posts on Reddit about this issue so hoping I can get some help or put this issue that myself and others have been having out there a little more.

Using the iPhone 11 Pro Max I have been having horrible connectivity issues with both my AirPods (gen 1) and my new AirPods Pro. What will happen is basically the bluetooth will completely shut off and disconnect on it's own. It will disconnect my Apple Watch as well. Now the weird thing about this is that I am not experiencing these issues when using my phone with other bluetooth speakers like this shower speaker that I use every morning maintains a strong connection. Also I am able to use my AirPods and AirPods Pro with my iPad Pro 2018 11" with no issues. It seems to be the combination of the AirPods and the iPhone that creates an issue.

Tried to record a video showing the issue but it's sort of tough to show. I am not pressing the bluetooth icon in this video it is doing it on it's own.

I have taken the following recommended steps to no avail:

Re-pair AirPods
Reset network settings
Restart phone with bluetooth turned off
Restored from iCloud backup

Only thing left to try is to restore phone as a new phone from finder on my computer. I will try this tonight most likely. Has anyone been experiencing these issues?

Yup. Issue with both my AirPods Pro as well as my Sony WF-1000XM3 earbuds. I'm guessing this is an iOS 13.2 problem generally with bluetooth earbuds. Sony is trying to work on a fix, but they are also kind of blaming Apple. I'm sure if it is an iOS bug, it'll be addressed sooner rather than later, as AirPods Pro adoption will make this a priority.

This issue borderline makes the AirPods unusable its really frustrating. I’m glad more people aren’t experiencing these issues but I genuinely am unable to use them for more than 5 minutes without them disconnecting. Not sure what to do.

Same!!! It’s extremely frustrating. Not only is the phone expensive but so are the AirPods pro. And they keep disconnecting because the iPhone keeps turning the Bluetooth off. I noticed my Apple Watch said it lost connection too. I called Apple 3 time, visited Best Buy (recommenced by Apple rep), and even went to the Genius Bar to have them just tell me it’s not an iOS issue and they won’t replace the phone UNLESS I reset as a new device. But since I don’t have a computer anymore, I have no choice but to go back to Apple a second time and have them do it. I’m not sure if the issue can be reproduced in the amount of time they spend with me but last time, while I was still there, everything was working fine. Honestly, I only noticed this issue once I updated to iOS 13.2 ?

Just to follow up on this I got my phone replaced my Apple at the store yesterday. Issue is completely gone. I believe it was a hardware issue.
