My AirPods won’t charge to 100%. They stop at 98%. The case will charge to 100% just fine, but the pods themselves will not no matter how long I leave them in the case and even with the case plugged in as well.
Anyone else seeing this?

Perhaps the battery expectancy is starting to drop pending how much usage they have had and how long you have had them. The only thing I can think of, is completely drain them and then recharge them fully. So may not agree with that, but I know someone else mentioned something similar and it repaired the issue.

Seeing the same with mine. They come out of the charging case at 97%. The usable time is also about half what it was when they were new.

I knew they would wear out in time, but still a little disappointing. At two years old I was hoping they would still be 80% or so. Oh well, I still love them.

Try a reset. It won't increase the play time any, but might correct the charging to 100% issue.
