We just ordered a couple sets of the Apple AirPods to use with our Cisco IP CP-9951 desk phones since you can pair bluetooth headsets with it to use wireless. For some reason we can initially pair the AirPods but after that there's no sound or anything that comes through to them. We tried a couple different ways and also a couple different phones and they are still not working. I'm pretty sure they should be able to work with any bluetooth compatible phone.

Does anyone have any information as to why they aren't working?

Thank you!

From what I've read, AirPods seem to require at least Bluetooth 4.0. The CP-9951 specs sheet lists it as having bluetooth 2.0. You might be able to get it working by buying a bluetooth adaptor but I'm not sure.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. I’m surprised they’re not backwards compatible though. Looks like we’ll be looking for some new office phones ;-)

Thanks for the reply.
