What does the error message "really" mean when it says "There was an error joining the AirPort network 'belkin54g'." and then you get the option to "Try Again" or just say "OK"?

By "really", I mean what's going on under the hood?

EDIT Here's a picture, albeit with a different router.

check if your router is up or modem is on(or maybe your MBP is locked out of the network)....looks like your airport is working but cant detect a signal....if they are on try restarting them.

Bless

There's a large concoction of different circumstances that can invoke this message. Most commonly, I've seen this when I haven't put the right network key in. :)
