For some reason, my airport card has recently been automatically disconnecting from my network when I log out of my user account. When I log in again, I have to click on the Airport icon and choose to connect to my network. I have checked my airport settings and "Disconnect from wireless networks when I log out" is NOT checked. I have no idea what else could be happening. Any help would be appreciated.

Btw, I am using an iMac G5 and I'm running 10.4.2. I'm new to these forums, but I look forward to posting here often.. and not only when I have problems! :p

I had a similar problem with our Pb G3 (in sig), when putting it to sleep, but I think it fixed itself.
Have you tried setting it to "automatically connect to network" ?

Go to Disk Utilities which is in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder. From there, select your hard drive and then press the Repair button down in the bottom right from memory. :)
